2nd meeting of the European Lightweighting Network

To set up and foster a political exchange of views on the contribution of lightweighting technologies towards the European Green Deal objectives, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) hosted together with the Austrian lightweighting network Austrian Advanced Lightweight Technology (A2LT), the Austrian Association for Advanced Propulsion Systems (A3PS) and the Austrian Institute Of Technology (AIT) the 2^nd Meeting of the European Lightweighting Network.  

Succeeding the first online meeting hosted by Germany in 2020, the follow-up conference was organised as a two-day on-site event. Day 1 was also live-streamed. In key notes, panels, open discussions and a world café, participants from European states, industry, research and civil society examined the lightweighting potential to reach the Green Deal objectives from different angles and developed a common stance on what is needed to promote lightweighting on a European level.
